Tom Cole

General Partner, Trinity Ventures

Tom Cole possesses over ten years of software industry experience, in a mixture of both operating and venture capital investing roles. Prior to joining Trinity in 1998, he held numerous design and development roles at startups and larger companies including Approach Software and Oracle Corporation. Tom also served as a technology consultant to financial institutions including Wells Fargo.

Prior to Trinity, he worked as a management consultant in Bain & Company's technology practice. Prior to Bain, Gus served as an engineering and business development manager at DEC's Alpha Microprocessor Division. Previously, he worked at Goldman Sachs. His investment focus includes Software, Communications and Networked Systems, and Semiconductors.

Tom received his M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He also holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Yale University.
